本周利物浦副市长葛睿议员、利物浦投资贸易署国际商务节主任穆英恩、 利物浦投资贸易署投资部主任珂爱玲以及发展署中国事务总监唐蜜一行访问上海。在沪期间参加了一系列商务及公务活动。 Gary Millar, Vice Mayor of Liverpool, Ian McCarthy, Director of International Business Festival, Ellen Cutler, Investment Director, Liverpool Vision and Mi Tang, Head of China Affairs, Liverpool Vision visited Shanghai this week, attended several business and official activities in Shanghai.
5月20日晚上，葛睿副市长出席利物浦足球俱乐部上海VIP招待会并发言。当天出席活动有英国驻上海总领事吴侨文以及四位传奇球星John Barnes, Robbie Fowler, Sami Hyypia和Luis Garcia. May 20th evening, Vice Mayor Gary Millar attended the LFC World Shanghai VIP Reception. Other attendees are John Edwards, Consul General of British Consulate-General Shanghai and four Legends: John Barnes, Robbie Fowler, Sami Hyypia and Luis Garcia. 
5月22日，奈特华与利物浦成功在上海慧公馆举办了2018年国际商务节的VIP午宴。当天出席午宴的有英国驻上海总领事馆的副总领事柯牧申、国际商务节主赞助商汇丰银行代表以及上海政府领导以及各大企业和商会的精英代表。 May 22nd, Liverpool hosted IBF2018 VIP Lunch at Mansion De L’Hui with ConnectChina. Attendees are: Tony Clemson, Deputy Consul-General of British Consulate-General Shanghai, representatives from IBF Main Supporter HSBC, and representatives of local government officials and businesses.

席间，葛睿市长以及穆英恩主任针对2018年将要在利物浦举办的国际商务节进行了详细的介绍。珂爱玲和唐蜜女士与企业家深入交流，介绍并解答企业对利物浦投资和贸易的一系列问题。 During the Lunch, Gary Millar and Ian McCarthy introduced IBF2018 which held in Liverpool to the guests; while Ellen Cutler and Mi Tang from Liverpool Vision had further conversation with guests regarding the investment and trade.
午宴之后，利物浦在公司总经理潘琼雅的陪同下与上海市外国投资促进中心进行了会谈，就双方加强信息交流分享以及促进企业投资贸易往来达成一致共识。投资促进中心孙新华主任表示，投资促进中心2018年将再次组织更多企业参加2018年国际商务节。 After the Lunch, Liverpool delegation accompanied by ConnectChina had meeting with Invest Shanghai. Both agreed to further information communication and share, promote the exchange in trade and investment between businesses from two cities. President of Invest Shanghai, Sun Xinhua said Invest Shanghai will organize more delegations to attend IBF2018. 
当天晚上，利物浦、Branding Shanghai以及奈特华联合举办了2018年国际商务节的预观活动，推介“2018年国际商务节（2018 International Business Festival）。 In the evening, Liverpool, Branding Shanghai and ConnectChina co-hosted IBF2018 Preview event, to promote 2018 International Business Festival.

5月23日，利物浦一行受到上海市许昆林副市长接见，双方就文化、教育、贸易、港口以及2018年国际商务节进行了友好交流。会见后双方共同签署了《上海市与利物浦市友好合作交流备忘录（2017—2020）》。 May 23rd, Liverpool delegation was received by Vice Mayor of Shanghai Xu Kunlin. Both sides had friendly conversation on culture, education, trade, port and IBF2018 during the meeting. And signed MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN SHANGHAI AND LIVERPOOL 2017-2020. 
随后，利物浦一行拜访了上海市人民政府新闻办公室。葛睿市长与徐威副主任进行了交流与会谈。 Liverpool delegation visited Shanghai Municipal Government Press office. Gary Millar had meeting with Vice Director Xu Wei. 
5月24日上午，利物浦一行来到浦东，与上海经信委以及上海商务局就双方经贸投资往来以及2018年国际商务节进行了深入交流。英方参会人员有英国贸易投资总署商务领事师宣勇、利物浦国际商务节主任穆英恩、利物浦投资贸易署中国事务总监唐蜜、Branding Shanghai和奈特华公司总经理。 In the morning of May 24th, Liverpool delegation visited Pudong, had meetings with Shanghai Economic Information and Technology Commission and Shanghai Commerce Bureau, focused on mutual communication on trade and investment and IBF2018. Attendees from UK side are: Seif Usher from Department for International Trade of British Consulate-General Shanghai, Ian McCarthy, Director of International Business Festival, Mi Tang, Head of China Affairs of Liverpool Vision, General Managers of Branding Shanghai and ConnectChina.
